• Account data: email address when you sign up.
• Usage data: pages visited, search queries, filters applied — collected via server logs and analytics.
• Preferences: language, currency, theme — stored in localStorage on your device.
• Price alert settings: district preferences, price ranges, notification settings — stored in our database linked to your account.
• Cookies: session cookies for authentication; no third-party advertising cookies.

• To provide and improve the kaio.ASIA service.
• To send price alert notifications you have subscribed to.
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns (anonymized) to improve search relevance.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Listing summaries are processed by AI language models (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini) to generate multilingual descriptions. We do not send user personal data to AI models. Only listing content (text from public real estate postings) is processed.

Account data is retained until account deletion. Price alert data is deleted when you delete the alert. Usage logs are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing privacy@kaio.asia.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this will prevent sign-in functionality.

• Neon (PostgreSQL): database hosting — your data is stored on Neon's EU/US infrastructure.
• Vercel / server hosting: application deployment.
• OpenAI: AI processing of listing content only (no personal data).
• Stripe: payment processing for Premium subscriptions. We never see your card details.

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We conduct regular security reviews. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by GDPR.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of kaio.ASIA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
